Lincoln Nebraska state officials report that Nebraska ranks highest among neighboring states and just behind the national average in interstate completion. As of September 30 the state had about 12.7 percent of its 480 miles unsized to standard and 9.9 percent not yet open to traffic. Wyoming trails with larger unfinished portions. The national figure shows roughly 80 percent open while 68 percent meet full federal standards.

Kearney State to Cut 24 Faculty Positions
Kearney State College will reduce teaching staff by 24 positions in fall 1973 due to enrollment drop from about 5,200 to 5,000 students. Dr. Brendan J.
