Thanksgiving speed limit toll rises amid stormy weekend
Traffic safety officials credited bad weather for keeping millions indoors as Thanksgiving travel was lighter than typical four day tolls. NSC warned 480 to 560 could die and 20 000 to 95 000 suffer disabling injuries over the weekend with a UPI count at 1 am showing 137 deaths since Wednesday. Water lines from the new reservoir north of Columbus will be tied to the existing system today and Saturday during daylight hours.
