Thanksgiving speed limit toll rises amid stormy weekend
Traffic safety officials credited bad weather for keeping millions indoors as Thanksgiving travel was lighter than typical four day tolls. NSC warned 480 to 560 could die and 20 000 to 95 000 suffer disabling injuries over the weekend with a UPI count at 1 am showing 137 deaths since Wednesday. Missouri crash killed four young men in a head on collision near Labadle and Villa Ridge, Ray Noer 21 and Raynold Baker 40 among victims. Baker hospitalized. A twin engine plane crashed near Raleigh County Airport in Beckley killing six.

Water service outage hits several Columbus areas this week
Water lines from the new reservoir north of Columbus will be tied to the existing system today and Saturday during daylight hours.
