Pair Faces Robbery Charges In Ohio Train Case
Two Rhode Island men Keith Sullivan and Lawrence Fontaine were jailed in North Platte after an armed robbery of an Ohio man aboard a Union Pacific freight train. The suspects were to be arraigned in Platte County Court on robbery and knife use charges. The victim, William A. San Filipo, jumped from the train and was found injured along Highway Four miles west of Duncan. Authorities pursue the case with Union Pacific agents.

Methodist pastor to retire after long ministry
The Rev. J. Graydon Wilson, longtime pastor of First United Methodist Church, will preach his last sermon on Sunday June 1 before retiring. Born 1914 in Ponca City Oklahoma, he studied at Union Theological Seminary and Iliff School of Theology and served 1939 to 1976 in parish ministry. He and wife Hostense married in 1937 and will move to a retirement home near Fremont.
