Exon vetoes bills boosting Nebraska school aid and highway bonds
Gov. J. Exon sent back to the Legislature his promised vetoes of LB201 to raise annual school aid from 35 million to 83 million and LE1008 to require 3 million in bonds by Nov. 1 and possibly 7 million by July 1, 1972. He cited fiscal responsibility and constitutional concerns raised by the highway bonding plan.

Prisoners chase home run into cemetery scene
