The Nebraska Supreme Court ruled that a golfer must exercise ordinary care for others when hitting a ball. The decision upheld an $8,500 verdict for Jerry Schmidt who was struck in the eye at Hale’s Bark course in Lincoln. The ruling found Jansen negligent for failing to warn and indicated Orton’s warning was disputed.
