Summer program for handicapped children opens June 2
A joint effort by the Columbus school and Platte County Association for Retarded Citizens offers a summer program for physically and mentally handicapped children in Columbus. Running June 2 through July 13, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fairacres School, it combines academics with crafts, art, recreation, swimming, bowling and field trips.
