Columbus Area Motorcyclist Injured In Route 15 Collision
A Columbus man suffered a broken leg when his motorcycle collided with a car on 15th Street and 33rd Avenue. Michael Loseke was taken to Behlen Community Hospital by the Columbus Rescue Unit. Car damage was $50 and cycle damage unknown. Additional injuries occurred in several other Sunday and Friday incidents, with multiple names and addresses listed and damages ranging from $25 to $2,000.

Guard Enlisted Association Conference Set In Nebraska
The Enlisted Association of the Nebraska National Guard meets May 10-11 at Columbus Holiday Inn for its fifth annual conference. Mayor Fred Gerber Jr. will speak at a Saturday noon luncheon. Major General Francis L. Winner will headline the banquet. Sunday morning business session ends at noon. About 900 enlisted members from across the state participate.

Ford to meet Rabin at White House in June

First tax rebate checks mailed Thursday

U.S. to Cut Troops Based in Thailand
The Pentagon announced a 25 percent plus reduction of U.S. troops in Thailand, from 27,000 to 19,500 by June, amid Thai objections. It will also bring back about 130 South Vietnamese aircraft, a step not previously disclosed, with further moves toward ending American forces in Thailand by March 1976. Negotiations continue and Thai plans to remove remaining Americans by next spring were not commented on.
