Nebraska Public Power District directors awarded the general contract for the Gerald Gentleman coal plant at Sutherland to National Industrial Constructors Inc of Dallas. Base bid is 67.7 million dollars with a miracle clause allowing cancellation of earth-moving if the move order can be overturned. Work expected to start in May with a target completion in summer 1978. six bids were reviewed for the project.
