Turkish Cypriots to resume talks very shortly
Turkish Foreign Minister Melih Esenbel announced after talks with Henry Kissinger that intercommunal discussions between Turkish and Greek Cypriots would be revived very shortly. Kissinger, in Ankara for a Middle East shuttle stop, pressed for renewed negotiations as he met Turkish leaders and Greek officials. The talks stalled after Turkish Cypriots established a separate federal state in the north.

School Board Fails to Settle on Local Project Bid
Columbus City Schools board deadlocked over by by passing state elevator rule for a new gym cafeteria. Tooley would drop the elevator from the Roth Johansen bid of 835000 and reinsert it later. Abel warned against favoring a bidder. Johansen argued bids were tight and an error could reduce prices, while architect Smutz said no local preference. Airlift to Pochentong Halted Two Hours Early
Heavy rebel rocket attacks on Pochentong Airport forced the U S food and fuel airlift into Phnom Penh to end two hours early. American cargo jets flew 12 missions before suspension at 3 p m. Flights usually end at sundown. The spokesman said rockets came too close but no DCB jets were damaged. The planes delivered 519 tons of rice and 46 tons of kerosene from Saigon. Rebels fired 20 rockets into the airport with no casualties reported.
