Friday March 5 1976 Sherry Schott and Jim Pfeifer spoke vows at St Isidore Catholic Church with Rev Francis Price officiating. A reception and dance followed at the Eagles Club after their Feb 27 wedding. The couple reside at 1210 9th Street. Pfeifer employed by Allied Mills.

Viona Wiser and Alan Birkel plan to wed June 5 at Grace Lutheran Church Platte Center both of Columbus. Viona is the daughter of Arthur L. Wiser and his wife and a Behlen Mfg. Co. stenographer. She is a 1971 Osceola High School graduate. Alan Birkel is the son of Harold J. Birkel and wife of David City. He is a 1970 Aquinas High School graduate and works for Spencer Foods Schuyler.
The Women's Guild met in the fellowship hall Wednesday night before the Lenton service and reminded members to attend the March 30 Christian Growth Workshop at Trinity Lutheran Schuyler starting 9 15 a m with registration. All were asked to bring Bibles. The guild will serve cookies and coffee after the next Wednesday Lenten service. A hymn was sung for Irene Thompson, the March birthday honoree.
