The Agriculture Department reports the 1977 farming season starting in southern areas as farmers spread fertilizer, plowed, and planted cotton and corn. Fails to Remember Taking Money Faces Psychiatric Exam
Linda Pentoja a 21 year old Kansas City woman charged with four federal bank robbery counts was ordered to a psychiatric examination after her attorney said she could not recall taking 3717 dollars at gunpoint holding two hostages and engaging in a shootout with police. The motion requested a postponement of her preliminary hearing and she consented to the examination in court. The government did not object to the request.
