The State Game and Parks Commission says all swimming beaches at Branched Oak Lake are closed due to excessive aquatic plant growth. The closure will last about 10 days with hopes to reopen by July 4. Wagon Train Lake near Hickman and Pawnee Lake near Emerald remain open to swimmers.
