Susan Ford plumb meted down a 260 foot water slide at River Country the new Walt Disney World attraction in Lake Buena Vista Florida. She called it super albeit a little scary and fed a kiss to Mickey Mouse during a picnic lunch. The riverfront complex covers about two acres with a cove off Bay Lake and features slides flumes swings and raft rides.

Cornerstone Uncovers Time Capsule Mix Up at Hastings Lodge
In Hastings Nebraska UPI reports the Hastings Masonic Lodge cornerstone was opened revealing a 1913 remodeling, with items dated 1902 and 1910. A copper box sealed 1886 yielded 12 newspapers from 1886 and ritual materials. A new box and salvage items were placed in the cornerstone in 1913. About 72 objects were recovered in the ceremony on Friday.
