Army checks precautions after blast kills Green Berets

Seven soldiers died and five were hurt when a demolition test at Fort Bragg caused a premature TNT detonation. The Army halted all demolition training to review safety procedures. Weed control is excellent to good and soybeans and oats are in good to excellent condition. Topsoil moisture is 15 percent short, 70 percent adequate, 13 percent surplus.
