Platte County Fair opens Thursday at Agricultural Park
The 37th annual Platte County Fair begins Thursday at Agricultural Park under the Platte County Agricultural Society. General Chairman Kenneth Torczon leads volunteers for a week of 4-H and vocational exhibits, livestock, school and club displays, child activities, and free grandstand shows. The fair runs through Sunday with nightly entertainment and a Monday auction of sheep, swine, and beef, aided by favorable weather forecasts.
