Farm leaders set showdown on administration farm bill

House leaders move to vote next Tuesday on an administration backed omnibus farm bill. Platte County Dominates District 4H Horse Show Winners

Platte winners highlighted at the District 4H Horse Show held Tuesday at Agricultural Park. More than 300 entries from 12 counties. champions include Brad Pierson and Brooke Pierson of Columbus with medals in boys measure and reining. Other Platte County honorees span divisions such as Pleasure, Horsemanship, Pole bending, and Barrels with many blue and red ribbons. Judges were Jim Stephens of Council Bluffs and Richard Warren of the University of Nebraska. show superintendent Bob Wobori.
