Man Sets Self Ablaze Aboard National Airlines Flight
In Jackson ville Florida a 23 year old Miami man Anthony George Townsend died after setting fire to himself in a plane restroom aboard National Airlines Flight 1601 from New York Kennedy to Miami. A [stewardess] found Townsend's charred body about 20 minutes after departure and the plane diverted for an emergency landing. Police said Townsend killed himself.
