Four people were arrested on narcotics charges at Flying St Ranch near Eatonville Washington during a Fourth of July rock festival. Among the arrestees were Michael A Pfeiffer 21 Omaha Neb Marvin Lee Weber 19 Minneapolis Minn and Alice Judy Kocsis 18 Billings Montana. A 16 year old juvenile from Carson California was in custody in Tacoma. Two 15 year old girls were also taken into custody as runaways. About 20 persons from the festival were detained by Pierce County Sheriff's deputies.
