Nebraska tax receipts fall short of projections for 1976 77
Nebraska's fiscal 1976 77 tax receipts came in 5.1 percent below projections. Total receipts were 506,405,411 versus 535,393,000 expected. Sales tax fell 9.3 percent, corporate income tax 8.9 percent below estimates, and miscellaneous taxes 10.1 percent under. Individual income taxes topped expectations by 2.4 percent. State Tax Commissioner William E. Peters reported the results.
