Fifteen interested persons met with the Search for doctors committee and coordinator Mary Kay Evans at the Albion Villa Inn Monday night. Advertisements have been placed in medical magazines and contacts made with outstanding Nebraska personnel. Evans seeks regular meetings with a representative from each Albion community and delegates as the committee plans meetings every second and fourth Mondays until further notice.

Albion school board swears in three new officers
At the January 13 meeting Elaine Wolf administered the oath to Paul Warner Bill Karges and Derek Michael who replaces vacancy appointee Michael. George Young was elected president Warren Taylor vice president Dick Michael secretary ex officio Jean Smith remains secretary ex officio and O G Sherill treasurer ex officio. The board also reorganized with officers and committee appointments. Bruck reported the band trip to Sun Bowl earning best out of state band and a $2500 fundraising balance for future trips. Superintendent Jordan noted improved finances with tax receipts and debt reductions. The district sold District 24 assets and unused town items for 2181.50.
