In Savannah Georgia two killed in a helicopter crash four miles southwest of Humber Army Air Field during a Huey Cobra training mission. The student was WO Michael Monroe of Savannah and the instructor 1st Lt Benny Parker of Knoxville aged 25. Parker was a Vietnam veteran with multiple decorations and had just become a first lieutenant. He is survived by his widow Rebecca Lawson and a son, Dean.
