Charges filed in escape case at Lancaster Court
Sandra Van Ackeran of Omaha posted a 2500 bond after arraignment on a felony charge alleging she aided the escape of her brother Steven from the Nebraska Penal Complex. Fred Van Ackeran, 29, also faces aiding in the escape and was held on 5000 bond. a third brother faces potential charges. Steven faces escape and habitual criminal counts in Lancaster and a burglary charge in Douglas County.
