Mallory on NBC Mystery Movie Channels Burr’s comeback in a legal tale

Raymond Burr returns to television in Mallory a pilot for NBC’s Sunday Mystery Movie airing February 8 at 11 p.m. Eastern. The series casts Burr as a hard edged defense lawyer with a troubled past in a story about a young man accused of auto theft and framed by his uncle. The DA is a semi villain while courtroom action is limited and the tone leans toward stylish drama rather than hard realism.
