Dr Bruce Cowgill, father and booster of Acres for Wildlife, received Columbus Sertoma Club’s Service to Mankind award. A Silver Creek educator and Educational Service Unit No. 7 administrator, he helped launch the conservation program in 1968 which now covers thousands of acres and brings hunters, wildlife groups, and volunteers together across several states.
