United Press International reports two Omaha women and three Lincoln teenagers died in weekend crashes. Jena M. King, 48, and Linda K. Scheiding, 29, died when their car was hit by a pickup driven by Kent E. Blackman, 25, who failed to stop at a stop sign and a red light at the Nebraska 13d and 36 junction. Blackman faces two counts of motor vehicle homicide and related charges. In a separate one car crash near Waverly, Lincoln youths Brian L. Trondale, 17, Katherine Helmatadter, 15, and Monica E. B. Kiser, 14, died when their car overturned and toppled into a ravine. three others were injured.
