Two killed in Friday accidents
Two people died in separate Friday incidents. Rodney E. Colson, 26, of Tecumseh, died when his pickup left Nebraska 41 and crashed into a ditch about 1 mile east of Sterling. Benjamin J. Roseneitter, 53, of Maxwell, was struck by a Union Pacific freight train while walking along the tracks near Maxwell around 12:30 a.m.
