Topsoil moisture supplies decline in Nebraska counties
Nebraska Crop and Livestock Reporting Service reports topsoil moisture in 83 percent of counties short and 17 percent adequate after a week with cooler, showers. Subsoil moisture is short in 88 percent, 12 percent adequate. irrigated corn mostly good, dryland corn fair to good, sorghum and soybeans mostly fair, alfalfa third cutting about 15 percent harvested.
