Outer Space Picnic Brings 50 To City club meeting
The City Modern Woodmen Junior Service Club held an Outer Space Picnic at the city park this week. President Peg Dehner led a 50-member gathering with guests Bonnie Helman Jeanie Hilger and Denise Rush. Gene Coufal awarded Dehner an engraved plaque for an honorable mention in the 17d Outstanding Junior Contests. Members were urged to bring garden flowers to the director’s home for donation to shut-ins and hospital patients, and an arrangement was taken to the Gray Nursing Home.
