Breath of Life dance to kick off cystic fibrosis drive in Columbus
Columbus High School hosts a Breath of Life fundraiser Monday to support cystic fibrosis research. Denny Bargen, co chair, says the event runs 9 15 p m to 11 15 p m with KOIL announcer Jimmy O Neill as honorary state chairman. A marathon basketball game is planned for May 9 from 8 p m to 8 a m, featuring boys and girls from three area high schools and a junior high. About six million U S children are affected by lung diseases and one in twenty people are gene carriers.
