Bids awarded for coal supply. LL C Griffin received the contract to furnish anthracite at 4.94 dollars per ton for courthouse and jail heating. Calums Purl Tee Co was awarded the Pittsburgh stack and not at 31.97 dollars per ton delivered.

Charles Schaffer had his watch stolen Thursday night at Seymour during the fair. John T Drummond, St Louis tobacconist, died there Thursday from complications of grip. Clay White, John Bowman, and Henry Maley were in Columbus today for various business. B F Cadby in Michigan for Reeves & Co. Miss Cora Johnson and Mrs E W Kinney went to Seymour for the street fair. First National Bank of Nashville to reorganize, reducing capital stock from 600,000 to 400,000 dollars.
