Mysterious hollow sycamore cave found near Hartsville
Near Hartsville in this county a colossal hollow sycamore was discovered after dogs barked at it. Investigators found a large cave under the tree with a ladder, hatch, and an oil stove. The sides were cut to allow entry, suggesting long-term occupation. the digger is unknown.
