Stolen Goods Recovered in City Break-In Case

Police recovered a large lot of stolen items at the home of Vic Mise where Scon Gable was staying. Vic Mise his wife and daughter Miss Kelley were arrested. A bureau search yielded two spring capes two winter silk plush cloaks and other goods later identified as Louis Lehman’s. Further searches found blankets coffee matches thread shoes and nickel plated shears with one pair of shoes sold to Mrs Dalin.

Edinburg Show Draws Big Crowds at Lienberger’s Nites

The Edinburg venue nightly draws crowds for a week long run. Uncle Tom’s Cabin played Monday in a large canvass tent with 2,100 tickets sold. Officials estimate the show grossed 400 to 500 dollars in voluntary contributions but the public effort was seen as little more than a spectacle.
