Death of Columbus Leader Joseph Wooley
Joseph Woolley a longtime Columbus resident died Thursday night at 9 from acute asthma. Funeral at two Sunday afternoon at his family home corner of Eventh and Chestnut streets. He traveled countywide seeking relief and recently stayed in Fitzgerald, Georgia hoping for health. He had no enemies and was a respected townsman with past business prominence. Also reported death of Mrs. Glick, 56, wife of Clinton Glick, at her home seven miles east of the city.
