Funeral of Mrs. Oscar Fiegenbaum Held At German Lutheran Church

The funeral for Mrs. Oscar Fiegenbaum was held yesterday afternoon at the German Lutheran church and drew a large crowd from across the country. Floral tributes arrived from Cincinnati Indianapolis and local supporters.

Joe Horton Convicted for Assault With Intent to Kill

The Franklin Star reports Joe Horton was found guilty of assault and battery with intent to kill Albert Dunn of Amity. The 22-year-old defendant faces 2 to 14 years in a reform school, with the verdict delivered after a late evening jury deliberation.
