The Republican city committee on February 10 fixed delegate representation for the May 1898 city election. Delegates are awarded at one per 10 votes for McKinley and one per fraction over five, producing a slate totaling 73 delegates. The report lists the delegates and amounts.

Prof J I Cochrane travels to Jeffersonville next Friday evening to entertain at the Methodist church for Epworth League funds. He is a noted humorist and expected to delight the audience with readings and recitations.
