Sheriff Webb Names Deputies In New Term
Sheriff Love Webb was inaugurated for a third term after illness kept him from the courthouse. Burglars Operate In Town Across Two Incidents
Burglars entered the T. J. Tucker & Co. store on Cemetery Avenue Friday night and took pennies and tobacco. A drum merchant’s sample trunk was stolen from the depot and found in John Fraser’s field, containing soap perfumes and druggists sundries with no clear loss reported.

Mrs James Parrish of Darks Mill neighborhood was hurt in a runaway accident Tuesday near Dr Mangrom’s rock crusher. Mr Parrish escaped injury as their horse bolted. a bystander stopped the animal. Her face and lip were cut and one leg bruised.
