Why Should Carmack Speak for Patterson Now
The Tennessee Democratic scene critiques Mr. Carmack for accepting National Committee invitations to Ohio and Indians for Bryan while condemning his absence from Tennessee events. The State Committee’s conduct is labeled mean and contemptible toward Carmack, who edits The Tennessean, and questions why he should campaign locally when leaders like Luke Wright campaign for Taft. The piece urges no bolting and calls for Australian ballot reform to reduce election confusion.
