H J Dufty a 60 year old man in Los Angeles attacked and killed his son and daughter with an ax, then slashed his own throat after a chase through his Northwest Lake Avenue neighborhood. His wife Ada Lacomb escaped as the assailant, driven by religious mania, wounded her before self-inflicted injury. The tragedy occurred in the early hours after a religious meeting.

Boy Crippled at Bowling Alley in Primm Tenn
