Placer County Transportation Planning Agency and CHP Caltrans announce a no cost Freeway Service Patrol starting Nov 17 on I 80 from Riverside Blvd to Sierra College Blvd. Patrols run weekdays 6 to 8 30 am and 4 to 6 pm plus select holiday weekends to assist stranded motorists.
The Gold Run CHP urges high country travelers to maintain vehicles and carry essentials.
