State CIF considers new team selections for games
Committees would be set up to decide the teams for upcoming games with sites to be determined. The discussion signals potential issues in matching rival schools like De La Salle and Long Beach Poly. The Federated Council approved reinstating a state championship and noted past CIF events including a state golf tournament from 1977 to 1981 and a boys state event from 1976 to 1981.
