Positive volunteer cleanup builds Colfax community
City manager Bob Perrault organized a cleanup day on April 24 2004 with hundreds of volunteers filling many garbage bags. Local groups businesses and students joined from I-80 interchanges caboose Plaza and around city hall with Lions Soroptimists and church members contributing. A morale boosting lunch followed and organizers hope to hold another cleanup in the fall.
