Grand opening mix up and gravy gripe at Mom's Kitchen
Colfax notes a chaotic grand opening where Gary Todd missed the event due to travel and a reserved Todd Table was later found occupied by a stranger. Paul Semenoff moved to another table, but Todd lodged a complaint about gravy from SYSCO’s Semenoff saying it was not spicy enough and too runny. A local resident vows to correct the issue. The column shifts to show a social cross with Bob Perrault’s wife and former students, referencing ties to Thousand Oaks and Newberry Park High School and noting notable alumni such as Kurt Russell and Debra Harry in past eras.
