The Willo Roadhouse Preserves Nevada City Tradition
The Willo Roadhouse in Nevada City is under new ownership as Nancy Wilson and Mike Byrne, who purchased the landmark a year ago to restore its historic charm. They plan a simple menu with St Louis style ribs, keep the front barbecue pit cooking, and host events for up to 65 people while maintaining its local, traveler friendly atmosphere. The restaurant operates seven days a week with dinner from 5 to 9 pm and Friday lunch from 11 am to 2 pm at 16898 State Highway 49, call 265-9902 for reservations.
