Colfax Depot Restoration Advances With Historic Paint and Donations
Community restoration of the Colfax Depot, built in 1905, progresses with historic color repainting funded by Jim Payne of the Colfax Hotel and window repairs. The project under Roger Staab and the Depot Management Committee also advances landscaping and sod installation, financed by the Parks and Recreation Construction Fund with community donations solicited to cover the $3,000 to $3,500 sod cost.
