Dutch Flat Hotel Finds New Life as Historic Inn
Bay Area couple Tom and Susie Flanigan bought the 150 year old Dutch Flat Hotel, a New England style landmark on Main Street, and plan to open it as a bed and breakfast. They closed the deal in March after being charmed by the Victorian town during a drive to Dutch Flat. They will run their Bay Area careers while restoring the hotel, staying in the adjacent ice cream parlor during renovations. Susie, known as Sussy, brings medical record copying to the project as Tom handles home inspections.
