Colfax Faces Div IV Playoff Spotlight With Rams Dominance
Sac-Joaquin Div IV playoffs open next week as Colfax High hosts both boys and girls. St Mary’s of Stockton, 24-2 after winning State Div II last year, tops the field and looms as the main challenger. Colfax, Hilmar, Amador, and Encina vie for open slots while NorCal power holds strong. Encina’s 6-9 freshman Eugene Crockett leads a front line as Colfax and Hilmar trade late tourney wins, shaping a wide open boys bracket.
