Historic Local Scenes Calendar marks 24th Colfax edition
Colfax High School’s Art Crafting Club released the 24th anniversary edition of the Historic Local Scenes Calendar. The limited print runs sell across Auburn to Nyack and abroad with student art and notes on Colfax history from the 1850s. Proceeds fund field trips and workshops while highlighting names like senior Anie Wilson and art teacher Steve Coverston. Locally, the calendar features railroad hubs, Donner Lake, Lincoln Highway, Rubicon grade, and other regional scenes with brief historical details. Contact Steve Coverston at 346-2284 ext 2806 to lend photos, preorder, or contribute. Calendars available at multiple local outlets listed.
