Depot Street Coffee Stop in Colfax will host Chamber tourist information with free pamphlets and guides. The display will include train and bus schedules, local guides, and the Walking Tour of Colfax to assist travelers visiting Main Street. Joy Sortland and family run the cafe offering organic coffee and local pastries while supporting community development.

Madonna's to host art shows and ice cream tastings this spring
Madonna's front parlor will feature private sundae parties and a refreshed setup with featured artists Marlene Martin and Michelle Hamilton. Hamilton debuted April 6 with works in watercolor, acrylics, scratchboard and pastels, known for In the Zone. Joint Chambers promote Nevada County tourism with a 9 by 4 inch rack card of Truckee, Nevada City and local sites, printing 195000 cards at a cost of 19800 dollars.
