Clinton Men s Barbershop chorus hosts its seventh annual Nite of Harmony at 8 p m Saturday October 27 in Washington Junior High auditorium. The program features Mid States Four of Chicago Vikings of Rock Island past international barbershop champions along with the chorus Sweet Adelines and three local quartets Lost Chords Uncalled Four Barber Sharps. Husband of Former Clintonian Dies
Louis Mellinger aged 46 of Moline Ti died in Iowa City after months of illness. He was married to Hatle Kline of Clinton since April 28 1961. Born August 12 1900 in Keithsburg he was the son of Robert and Amelia Mellinger. Surviving are his wife four sisters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a m Monday in Moline with burial in Clinton Memorial Park.
