Clifton band program relies on broad community support
Clifton High School directors and band staff praise community, school and student backing that sustains a robust marching band. They note graduates from Clifton, ongoing practice despite illness or rain, and eight daily classes plus fall and spring concerts, solos, and regional contests. Jay Dawson arranged special music for this year’s marching show.

Big Buck Contest Returns To Clifton Chamber Event
The Clifton Chamber of Commerce invites entries for its annual big buck contest with deadlines October 2 for youth, October 30 for youth season, and November 6 for general season. Photos from last year are viewable at Clifton Feed and Service Center. A rifle raffle, a Wesnington SPS 270 caliber rifle, will be sold for 100 tickets with viewing at Keith’s Ace Hardware and other local businesses.
